Here are your cosplay judges for DreamHack Winter

With only days left to DreamHack Winter 2017, the cosplay competition is shaping up nicely for the presentation. Time to finish the last details to your costumes and get ready – today we reveal the amazing judges for the competition.

With four skilled judges hailing from Sweden and Denmark, they’re honored to be judging the cosplay competition at Saturday, December 2nd.

Emilie Korsgaard Andreasen, Scarlett Costuming and Art

Emilie is a Danish cosplayer from Scarlett Costuming and Art, and a SFX artist with a soft spot for detail rich cosplays and intricate designs. She focuses on SFX and armor builds and rarely craft comfortable cosplays (which often leads to a questioning of life decisions). She represented Denmark at EuroCosplay 2015 and NCC 2017 at which she won second place. In a cosplay Emilie looks for well-executed pieces, clever solutions as well as a stage presence that carries the cosplay the extra mile. But according to her, the most important thing of all is to have fun, so enjoy yourselves and your time on stage and be proud of what you have accomplished!

Malin Ivarsson, Tokah Cosplay

Malin ”Tokah” Ivarsson is a friendly and curious cosplayer who loves to try a lot of different materials and techniques. She has created widely different cosplays, from armor to sewing, sculpting, casting, programming lights… the list goes on. The latest of her many achievements was winning 3rd prize in Blizzard’s cosplay competition at Gamescom. Her cosplays are known to be very detailed, well crafted and innovative. While judging she has an extra eye for details, proportions and how cosplays are crafted to keep up the illusion of a character from another world.

Fanny M. Bystedt, Marugitto Cosplay

An award-winning cosplayer who has been cosplaying for over a decade. During this time, she has placed 1st at Dreamhack summer 2015, participated in the national Swedish cosplay championship 2016 and 2017, and represented Sweden in Eurocosplay 2015. She has made costumes based of games, books, anime /manga and movies – and built armour as well as sewn dresses. Marugitto loves the varied creative challenge and expression in cosplay – just as much as connecting with new and old friends through cosplay.

Elvina Ejstes, Grimalkin Cosplay

Grimalkin is a sponsor-judge from Webhallen, where she have worked for several DreamHacks. Since September she is also a part of Team Sweden to represent her country in World Cosplay Summit in Japan 2018. Her big passion in cosplay is experiences. Weather it might be to see surprise in an audience when a cosplayer comes on stage or a fan meeting their biggest in-game hero. She has been an active cosplayer for seven years, and look forward to see how the contestants will perform on stage.
